I am a late comer to art, after raising a family, taking care of our sheep ranch and a career teaching Native American children, I finally have time to awaken my interest in creating things.  Recently, I started painting in oils and have learned how to craft beautiful spoons from horns. Through art, I have "learned to see"; where I used to see only a few  colors, or a limited depth in a shadow, I now see myriads of hues and shades in nature. Art has opened my eyes to perceive more beauty.
