Bill Yankee

The light, landscape and ranching in the West are the primary inspirations for artist Bill Yankee. He works in a variety of media, including oil, pastel, etching, and has recently added etched glass to his repertoire. Yankee holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wyoming, with additional study at The Art Students League of New York. After 30 years of teaching art at the high school and college levels, he now divides his time between producing art and working on his small cow-calf ranch south of Lander, WY.
